The above four items of information should form the ‘nuts and bolts’ of your resume. Apart from the basic categories, you can add on details to make it more impressive. Always
make a rough resume with all the details before you finalize onto the fair one.
DESIGNING AND FORMATTING YOUR RESUME:
Here are some tips to help you in formatting your resume.

  Keep the font size within 10 - 12.
  
• 
  Use white or off-white paper and a skilled looking font such as Times
  

Roman, Ariel or Helvetica.

  Use non-decorative typefaces.
  
• 
  Choose one typeface and stick to it. Avoid italics, script and underlined words.

  Do not use horizontal or vertical lines, graphics or shading.

  Resume is for freshers. So limit the length of your resume to 2 pages.

  Use action words, while framing sentences, to convey your work
  

experience. Bulleted sentences that begin with action words like ‘prepared’, ‘monitored’, and ‘presented’ are more impressive.
