Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 is presentation software and housed in the Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft PowerPoint is a powerful presentation application which creates slideshows of important notes to display during a presentation. It allows you to create amazing slide presentations that can integrate images, video, narration, charts and more. PowerPoint slides can be plain with only text, or they can include pictures and even animation, including moving text and images. Text can be formatted in the same way as text can be formatted in Microsoft Word, including color, size, and font type. Extension of MS PowerPoint is “.pptx”.
The program window of Microsoft PowerPoint consists of Head line, Quick Access Toolbar, Ribbon, Slide Pages, Scrollbars and Status Bar.
The Ribbon of Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 contains 9 tabs, each with several groups of commands. These tabs are always on view on the Ribbon: File, Home, Insert, Design, Transition, Animations, Slide Show, Review, View.
