To find us, turn off the Tweed Valley Way at Burringbar, go down the main street past the Post Office and shops, follow the road for about 4km and we are on the right. At all times we have in stock an extensive range of rainforest trees, shrubs & understorey plants, palms & cycads, ferns, grasses & sedges, as well as a huge range of sclerophyll plants including eucalypts, wattles, callistemons, grevilleas, banksias & westringias. All are displayed with common and Latin names and plant descriptions. We also have an acre of gardens for your enjoyment and education. Many of the plants in the garden have a sign depicting their species name. Our help and advice is freely available. Please ask if there is any species that you would like to purchase that is not on the list. We also have a stall at the Bangalow market, and plants may be ordered for collection from there. This stocklist is representative of what we grow. Availability varies from month to month dependant on seed collected, propagation successes and sales.

RAINFOREST KITS These kits are selections of 20 plants for $160 that will complement each other's growth and are an excellent way of providing a variety of species to enhance your environment. Each species is labelled with common and scientific names.
RAINFOREST CLUMP KIT
This most popular kit will provide a rainforest clump in a small area in a relatively short period of time. The trees chosen include many pioneer species and will fulfill the aim of canopy closure and the formation of a rainforest micro-climate. Trees are recommended to be planted 2 - 3 metres apart. Ample water and fertilizer and the removal of competitive grasses will produce the best results.
ORNAMENTAL RAINFOREST KIT
This kit comprises of 20 of the more ornamental rainforest species from sub-tropical and tropical Australian Rainforests that have proven successful in this area. Species have been selected for their flowers, foliage, decorative fruit and bark.
CABINET TIMBER KIT
20 trees that will produce valuable cabinet timber in the years ahead. Such species as Rosewood, Red Carabeen, Queensland Maple and Tulipwood provide beautiful wood that is becoming expensive and difficult to obtain.
EDIBLE FRUIT KIT
A kit for the permaculturists. A selection of rainforest trees and shrubs with edible fruit for those with a discerning palate (well they won't poison you anyway). Chosen from Finger Lime, Davidson's Plum, Black Apple, Tamarinds, Lilly Pillies, Plum Pine, Brush Caper Berry, Glycosmis, Midyim, various Figs, Hairy Psychotria, Plum Myrtle, Brown Gardenia.
BUTTERFLY ATTRACTING KIT
A group of trees and shrubs that will attract butterflies to your garden by providing the salad for their caterpillars. There are many beautiful butterflies and by planting such trees as these their numbers will multiply.
20 smaller trees and shrubs that require some protection and are best suited for planting under taller trees or to fill in the gaps in established plantings that have begun to form a canopy. Such plants as White Bolly Gum, Rose Myrtle, Smooth Wilkiea, Native Gardenia, Macleay Laurel, Palm Lilies.
LILLY PILLY KIT
There are many types of trees and shrubs closely related to the common Lilly Pilly (Acmena smithii) producing showy displays of flowers and colourful fruits. This kit of 20 trees and shrubs is made up of related species growing naturally in rainforested areas from Sydney to Cape York that have been found to grow well in this area.
A kit made up of 20 smaller shrubs and ground covers for those who have run out of room for larger trees or want something to fill in underneath more established plantings. Such plants as Native Ginger, Palm Lilies, Crinum, Lomandra, Helmholtzia.
VULNERABLE & ENDANGERED KIT $180
20 specimens listed in the Threatened Species Conservation Act NSW 1995. Chosen from the following : Davidsonia jerseyana & johnsonii, Diospyros mabacea, Randia moorei, Cassia marksiana, Argophyllum nullamense, Cupaniopsis newmanii, Diploglottis campbellii, Desmodium acanthocladum, Cryptocarya foetida, Syzygium hodgkinsoniae, Floydia praealta, Hicksbeachia pinnatifolia, Amorphospermum whitei and others.
