Welcome to Twinkl Coding 
Twinkl coding has everything you need to help your 
children with early programming skills. Coding, also called 
programming, is becoming more and more important as 
children develop their use of technology. As part of their 
national curriculum, children will explore algorithms and 
learn how to design, write and debug programs. Coding 
is an important skill that will not just support children as 
part of their education in computing, but can also improve 
skills like perseverance and problem solving. These skills 
are important and can help to create successful, well 
rounded learners. We have resources for EYFS, KS1 and 
KS2 children including some fantastic apps for children to 
develop and apply their coding skills.
Kids are growing up in a world surrounded by digital technology. It’s never been more important to 
educate them about coding. Our coding resources encourage children to develop the skills to design, 
write and debug programs. These resources will also help you to teach your children to use logical 
reasoning to explain how simple algorithms work. Great for National Coding Week.
