hundredth power.” It’s shorter, but it is still just as powerful a number. If you want to 
express an even more gigantic number, you can write a googolplex, which is a googol to 
the googol power written as 10 googol. It might be hard for you to find a use for such 
an enormous number, but you can try!

Did you know horses are in the same family as donkeys, zebras, and mules? It is true.
Horses are in the equus family. Their name comes from a Greek word. It means quick. 
There are over 350 kinds of horses. They are divided into four main groups: the “light” 
horses, the “heavy” horses, ponies, and wild or semi-wild horses. “Light” horses have 
small bones. They weigh less than 1,300 pounds (590 kg). They have thin legs.
“Heavy” horses are strong and have big bones. They also have sturdy legs. “Heavy 
horses” can weigh up to 2,000 pounds (907 kg). Ponies are no taller than 58 inches 
(147 cm). If you measure in horse language, one would measure in hands. Ponies,

Genres of literature are important to learn. The two main categories separating the 
different genres of literature are fiction and nonfiction. There are several genres of 
literature that fall under the nonfiction category. Nonfiction sits in direct opposition to 
fiction. Nonfiction refers to literature based on facts. It is the broadest category of 
literature. You can find many categories of books including autobiography, business, 
cooking, health and fitness, crafts, home decorating, languages, travel, home 
improvement, religion, art, music, history, true crime, science and history in the 
Nonfiction Department of libraries. Essays are also included in nonfiction category as
they are short literary compositions that reflect the author’s outlook or print. 
Fiction refers to literature created from imagination. It is divided into 3 sub-groups: 
Drama, Poetry, Narratives. Drama is composed in prose, usually for theatrical 
performance, such as tragedy, melodrama and comedy. They are expressed through 
dialogue and action. Poetry is a rhythmic writing which is written or spoken. Narratives 
are novels or short stories, which are made up.
