CONCLUSIONS
A computer network provides the basis of communication between different nodes. This paper has presented an overview of various
types of computer area networks. In this paper we have compared five computer area networks: LAN, PAN, MAN, and CAN, WAN.
These technologies are compared on the basis of various parameters such as speed, congestion, fault tolerance, technology
used, cost, bandwidth, communication medium, design maintenance, ownership, area covered, propagation delay, used for.
