SUMMARY
Non-oil export is a priority for the countries which has a large part of the revenues obtained from oil and gas sector. In this sense, the non-oil export potential of these countries have important economic and political significance. The oil and gas sector has a significant stake Azerbaijan's export structure that is why a real analysis of non-oil export and non-oil export potential, export diversification has economic importance for the country. The theoretical basis of the study to increase the export potential of the non-oil exports to some of the practices of the oil exporting countries, export of non-oil products in the country, which is traditional for the portfolio or in new areas, export diversification level, traditional and non-traditional export sectors the country's non-oil exports and non-oil GDP to the effects of non-oil export promotion have been widely analyzed. Overall, the survey for the years 1995-2015 and individual commodity groups in total non-oil export figures for the period of 1995-2014 was used in the non-oil GDP figures.
