Implementation of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods project began, which is supported by 
Africa CDC and implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
 
•
Through the IFRC tree planting initiative, the National Society was provided, by His Majesty King 
Letsie, 111 fruit trees tress for planting in the Botha-Bothe district, contributing to both climate 
change mitigation, and food and nutrition security.
 
•
IFRC engagement with His Majesty King Letsie, as the Africa Nutrition Champion and 
Ambassador, has resulted in a new partnership with the National Society to support His Food 
Security Project at Tajane.
