information rich media n. the capacity to have access to information through media such as the internet, television, radio, newspapers, and other printed matter. Those who are information rich are able to act on the basis of what they know and what they can find out as opposed to those who are information poor who are restricted in informed action and vulnerable in changing circumstances.
