Problems of hotel business in Uzbekistan and possible solutions

3.1. Data collection
On this graduation project makes use of secondary data and information from various organizations like United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) etc., Journals, Internet and Survey in which Managers, Administrators, Housekeeping managers, Maids, Security were asked several questions individually about the hotel and its services, also pluses and minuses. Apart from this, guests from foreign countries in those hotels also have participated on this survey. And why exactly survey was used or qualitative method, because based on these questions and answers that were received from the participants, we can find out the problems and try to find solutions to them.
During the survey, several brand hotels were chosen like “Grand Samarkand Superior”, “Emir Han”, “Dilimah”, “Royal Hotel”, and “Alexander”. The reason why these hotels were chosen is that, they have a good reputation, good comments on several web sites like booking.com, tripadvisor.ru, expedia.com. and students from our university are working there, by their recommendations those hotels were chosen.
About the whole situations and to the all questions in hotels could professionally answer only Managers and they were the first to start answering questions. Then, administrators answered, later, housekeeping managers, and last of all maids. After the staff, questions were passed to the guests and they answered them.
Survey were divided into two parts for the staff (table 1) and for the guests (table 2) which consists 10 questions for each. The last question was the same for both staff and guest. Through that question, we could identify what they dislike about the hotel and that question “What did you dislike about the hotel?”
45 people participated in this questionnaire, most of them are staff of the hotels, more accurately 25 people. In general 5 manager from each hotel, 10 administrators from each hotel, 5 housekeeping managers from each hotels and 5 maids from each hotels. Other 20 people are guests of the hotels.
