The HCL provides a detailed inventory of hardware that has been tested and is known to work with
the operating system. Although other hardware components may work, they have not been thoroughly
tested by the manufacturer of the software.
If you are trying to boot from a Windows installation CD, such as a Windows 2000 or Windows XP
installation CD, and the system appears not to boot from the CD, what do you need to do?
