Chapter 7. Rights and obligations of tour operators and travel agents, tourists and sightseers, guides (guide-translators), guides and instructors-guides.1 Article 29. Rights and obligations of tour operators and travel agents Tour operators and travel agents, within their powers, have the right to:change the duration and route of the tour, the conditions of service, the type of transport service, measures to ensure the safety of the tourist, the tourist and the protection of their property with the consent and at the request of a tourist and a sightseer;
increase the stipulated cost of the tour with the consent of a tourist and a sightseer, provided that they are notified about this no later than twenty days before the start of the tour;
terminate the contract for the provision of tourist services in the event of force majeure circumstances in which the provision of services is impossible, as well as if the required number of tourists and sightseers necessary to create a group has not been collected, about which tourists and sightseers should be notified no later than twenty days before the start of the tour;
demand compensation for losses and non-pecuniary damage caused by tourists, sightseers or tourism subjects.
Tour operators and travel agents are required to:
ensure the provision of services to tourists and sightseers stipulated by the agreement on the provision of tourist services; including foreign, as well as modern technologies in the tourism sector.
compensate for losses and non-pecuniary damage caused to tourists and sightseers in case of failure to provide or provide in part or inadequate quality of tourist services;
provide tourists and sightseers with complete information about the organization of the tour, their rights and obligations;
contribute to the conservation of tourism resources2;
monitor compliance by tourists and sightseers with the legislation in the country (place) of temporary residence.
