Respirators: N95 means >95% of particles/pathogens down to 0.3 microns are filters
N = not oil resistant
R = mildly oil resistant
P = oil resistant (for organic chemical poisoning protection)
There are also N99 and N100 and P99 and P100 masks
Fit is important!
