The present simple tense –
Oddiy hozirgi zamon shakli bo`lib, biz odatlanib qolgan odatiy ishlar, hayotda
doimiy va takror-takror bajariladigan ishlar, doimiy ro`y berib turadigan tabiat hodisalari, ma`lum vaqt ichida emas
balki umumiy, yani har doim takrorlanib turuvchi voqea-hodisalarni ifodalashda qo`llanadi. Gap tartibi:
Ega + asosiy fe`l (Ilovaga qarang) + obyekt tarzida bo`ladi. Oddiy hozirgi zamonda gap tuzganda fe`llarning III shaxs
birlikda qanday ishlatilishini yodda tutuish zarur. Bunda asosiy fe`ldan so`ng
-s, -es qo`shimchalari qo`llanadi. Bu
qo`shimchalar huddi otlarning ko`plik qo`shimchalari kabi qo`llanadi:
I go to work. – Men ishga boraman.
Lola goes to school. – Lola maktabga boradi.
We play football. – Biz futbol o`ynaymiz.
She plays dolls. – U qo`g`irchoqlar oynaydi.
