Dear selection committee:
I am Bakhodir Izzatulloev who has a plan to find a solution to Environmental problems. Currently, I am a junior at Tashkent State University of economics.
Alas, our EARTH is in danger. The rate of air pollution is getting high day by day, moreover, climate change is occurring too. However, researches which are being done by Dr. Rae Kwon Chung are really important nowadays. Therefore, I clearly see the necessity of meeting with him for the solution of Environmental problems.
There are a lot of reasons why I am going to meet with Dr. Rae Kwon Chung. After studying the Environmental economy course, I interested in this field. I envision myself as a scientist focusing on the Environment and sustainable energy systems. Thus, this meeting is the right springboard for my future career. Firstly, he has new ideas about this problem, and also he has found the advantage of Climate Change. For example, he said that climate change may create new jobs which are useful to our labor market. Essentially, he created a concept which is called “ Green Growth” which focuses on economic growth with an ecological balance for the future. Nowadays, I am writing an article about “The problems and solutions of sustainable energy” with my supervisor Dr. I.Khotamov(at TSUE) and I am sure that this meeting absolutely help me to write a useful article. Secondly, I found an interesting and useful concept from the research of Dr. Rae Kwon Chung which is “ Net zero by 2050”. In my mind, it is the new way to achieve climate neutrality by mid-century and implies that with this tuition we can reduce the amount of CO2 by 70%. Thirdly, Dr. Rae Kwong Chung suggested a mechanism of “ GREEN DEVELOPMENT”
whereby countries can initiate projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Finally, I can remember that after having a semester course in “Environmental economy”, I have learned to analyze the drawbacks of climate change to our life and synthesize information in this field. I believe that, if I attend this meeting, I can improve my knowledge in
this sector and share my new knowledge with my friends.
I have participated in some local and international conferences. For example, on July 26-31 in 2022
I took part in IBRAT LC which was organized by “ Youth affairs of UZBEKISTAN”. During this camp, we tried to solve some important problems like how to save the EARTH. Moreover, I got a fully-funded invitation letter for “ International Student week 2022” which is planning to be held in Iran.
Through them, I have been exposed to quantitative and qualitative research methods, analysis, and critical thinking. I have also mastered analytical writing because of the course related to climate change. So I think that my experiences in this sector could position me as a primus-inter-pares applicant.
