Acting in blatant violation of international law, the Republic of Armenia occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan's sovereign territory acknowledged by the international community, exiling out of their homelands nearly 800 hundred thousand of people.
The four Resolutions of UN Security Council, demanding the unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories has not been complied with by this aggressor state during the past 27 years.
Armenia has violated more than 10,000 times the cease-fire agreement signed in 1994, killing vast numbers of our military personnel and civilians.
More recently, Armenians from Lebanon and other countries have been brought and settled in occupied territories. The historical sites and monuments in these areas were severely damaged and destroyed. Very regrettably, unopposed by the strong protest and an unequivocal stance of the world community, Armenia continues to commit inhumane war crimes against civil population, launching rocket attacks on civil population living in Ganja, Mingachevir and other settlements. The rockets launched on densely populated areas at night time resulted in the death and injuries of dozens of people. The fact that there are children among the killed should be a source of grave concern to the international community and lead to implementation of determined efforts for stopping the atrocities committed by Armenians.
Alliance Party for the Sake of Azerbaijan strongly condemns the death and injuries of so many non-combatant civilian people and calls on the international organizations to take decisive steps to prevent further commission of these war crimes.
