2. Translate the given text “London”- It ıs the capital, the oldest and largest city of England. It is on the river Thames in the South-east of the island of Great Britain. It was founded by Romans. London is one of the leading cities in art, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, media, tourism and transport. More than 300 languages are spoken in the region. Population is over 8 million. There are numerous galleries, museums, libraries including the British Museum, National Gallery, Natural History museum, British library.

1.Translate the given text My favourite composer (U.Hajibayov). The great Azerbaijan composer, musician, dramatist, publicist and teacher was born in 1885 in Aghjabadi, in the family of village clerk. When he was a little boy his family moved to Shusha, one of the beautiful and old towns of Azerbaijan in Garabagh. There little Uzeyir began to go to school in 1899. Then he went to Gori seminary to continue his study. At the seminary he was interested in literature, history, music and did his best to learn Russian well. After finishing seminary he came to Garabagh and began to work as a teacher. He taught literature, history, music and Russian. In 1907 he wrote his opera “Leyli and Majnun” and laid the foundation of the Azerbaijan national opera. He died in Baki in1948.
