Botnet Cleaning Center: As a part of the Digital India programme, the Government is setting up a centre that will detect malicious programmes like „botnets‟ and help people remove such harmful softwares from their devices. “ The Government is setting up „botnet‟ cleaning and malware analysis centre” according to media reports. Botnet is a network of malicious software. It can steal information, take control of device function and carry out cyber attacks like Distributed Denial-of-Service (DdoS).
