General conclusions Considering the high essential oil content of thyme and the richness of the valuable phenolic
compound thymol in this essential oil, among the samples taken from the six regions in the two
mountain ranges in Mianeh, those collected in the Qaflankuh range (especially on its peaks) can be
considered for various applications, especially for medicinal uses.
