L.ABASOVA THE ACTIVITY OF THE EDITORS AT “AZERNASHR” IN FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF AZERBAIJANI BOOK SUMMARY The activity of the editors who worked for the Azerbaijan State Publishing House
throughout different years and contributed a lot to its work was studied in the article. The
rewarding of the editors by the state who had a significant role in formation of Azerbaijani
book and worked at ―Azernashr‖ for many years is also studied based on facts. It was made
identified through the research carried out on the particular period that the editors at
―Azernashr‖ are well-known intellectuals who made significant efforts in release of every
single book by ―Azernashr‖.
