Cartography is the art and science of map making. Map is one of the
conventional sources of spatial data. From maps, information on distances,
directions and area sizes can be retrieved, patterns revealed and relations
understood. Subject provides the basic knowledge of portraying spatial
features from reality by using cartographic techniques. Subject incorporates
the fundamentals of coordinate and projection system and map
classification techniques.
