Are you good at reading a map?
I don’t want to sound cocky or something, but I can show where most countries or islands are located on a map. And I would put this down to the competition we used to organize at schools and I would spend hours preparing for it trying to remember as many places on the map as I could. The objective of the competition was to find the places told by our teache.
Would you visit a country because of its geographical location?
I’d say that can be a good reason for travelling to a particular place. For example, I’ve been wanting to visit a desert, just because it is devoid of light pollution and I can see the starts, especially the Milky Way. Also, I want to visit one of the most beautiful geographical locations on earth which is the northern part of Canada just to witness the Northern Lights first-hand.

PUZZLES
Did you do puzzles in your childhood?
If it counts as a puzzle, I was very interested in solving the Rubik’s Cube and I don’t really know why. I would treat it as a challenge to organize the colors on the Cube. First I learned how to arrange one side. Then I moved on solving it altogether after trying for like a week because I had to memorize all the moves and stuff.
When do you do puzzles, during a trip or when you feel bored?
Both situations are ok for me I’d say because it’s a very effective way to kill the time. Not just because it is intellectually stimulating, it’s more like once you dive into it, there’s no going back and you don’t even realize how the time passes especially during long journeys.
Do you like doing word puzzles or number puzzles? Which is more difficult for you?
I’ve done both. Both can be pretty hard to solve especially when you progress from one level to another. But I’d say I find word puzzles less of a challenge compared to puzzles involving numbers because I’m not that mathematically inclined.
Do you think it is good for old people to do puzzles?
Of course it is because solving any sort of puzzles gets their brain working more. It strengthens the connections within a person’s brain and they also help improve memory. And I read it somewhere and I don’t know whether it’s true I guess it is, I mean doing puzzles actually delays the development of some diseases in adults such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s both of which have something to do with memory.
