All these programs and projects are aimed at the development
of higher education in the
country, improvement of the educational and methodological process using advanced foreign
experience, improvement of the qualifications of professors and teachers, expansion of student
exchange. Higher education of Uzbekistan It is worth noting the active participation of
European Union institutions in the Tempus and Erasmus Mundus education programs. At the
moment, 20 projects of the European Union's Tempus educational program are implemented in
the republic, and about 40 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan participate in them. The
Tempus project is mainly devoted to the production of educational programs for master's and
bachelor's degrees in the field of technical sciences and theoretical technologies.
Higher
educational institutions of the Republic work in cooperation with European universities on the
development of new educational programs in various subjects and improvement of existing
ones. In addition, the Tempus project provides an opportunity to provide
participating higher
education institutions with modern computer equipment and techniques. The Tempus project
also aims to improve the qualifications of professors and teachers of higher education
institutions. It should be
noted that short-term seminars, scientific-practical conferences,
training courses are held in European higher education institutions within the framework of the
projects. participates in the Erasmus Mundus program aimed at strengthening cooperation.
Within the framework of the programs, students and teachers will have the opportunity to do
scientific practice in European higher education institutions. It should be noted that achieving a
high ranking is a long-term effort that
requires ongoing commitment, investment, and
continuous improvement in various aspects of the university's operations. It's also important to
note that rankings can vary depending on the methodology used by different ranking
organizations, so universities should focus on holistic improvement rather than just chasing
rankings.
Currently, great attention is being paid to cooperation with foreign
partners to attract foreign
teachers and specialists to the educational process. The most active work in this direction is
carried out with the international cooperation agencies of Korea and Japan, JICA and KOICA.
