Responsibilities of ALL staff:

Do not walk through any spilled materials.
Do not become exposed during contact with the patient.
Do not attempt to give care unless you are trained and equipped with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Do not go to the area if you are not a trained member of the HazMat team.

nurses and pharmacists who mix them.
Housekeepers who clean up spills and remove waste can become ill if they do not
follow appropriate directions.
