Yes, I do. I love my birthdays. It is very special day for me because I 
meet with relatives, best friends and neighbours.
Do you usually celebrate vour birthday?
I always celebrate my birthdays. I usually organize birthday parties. 
I invite all my friends and relatives.
What did you do on your last birthday?
Oh, I did interesting things. We celebrated my last birthday in 
Tashkent. First, we went to the park, then we visited Tashkent city. 
We had dinner in an expensive restaurant.
Can you remember vour best birthday?
Yes, I can. It was my 15th birthday. It was my best birthday 
because I got the best present. It was a big horse. My father gave 
it to me. It was white and I called it Jenny.
Do most people celebrate their birthdays with a party in vour
country?
Without doubt. Most people celebrate their birthdays with a party 
in my country. It is our tradition. All our relatives and friends visit us 
on our birthdays.
Which birthdays are considered important in your country?
We celebrate birthdays of great ancestors, such as Alisher 
Navaiy, Amir Temur and our first president Islam Karimov.

Yes, I did. It was great. I have wonderful childhood memories 
What is your first memory of vour childhood?
It is my study. I was an excellent pupil at school. I had many 
clever teachers. I was very active and won several competi­
tions. I have several diplomas now.
Did you have a lot o f friends when you were a child?
Yes, I did. I had many friends. I was sociable and got on well 
with my classmates. They were friendly and kind.
