Use: actions continuing up to, or stopping just before a moment in the past.
Keys: for, since, before, all day
Watch out: the past simple emphasizes the result of an action. The past perfect continuous often emphasizes the action, and the time spent on the action, rather than the result.
9. Future A) Present continuous Use: arrangements
Watch out: Things we want to do in the future but have not arranged are called “intentions”. We don’t use the present continuous for intentions. We use be going to instead.
B) Will 3 forms with ex.
Use: facts about the future, predictions, offers and requests, promises, refusals, decisions made now.
Watch out: with offers which are questions, we use shall with I and we
