E-learning has a number of advantages: openness of education for all, independent
determination of the pace of learning, the ability to build an individual educational trajectory, the
opportunity to receive individual advice from the educator, teleconferences and thematic webinars,
group discussions, group projects and more. Despite the diversity of e-learning supports, its
application in the educational process requires a high level of qualification of educators, ie
competence to work in an e-learning environment, science competence, other competencies
necessary for teaching students and other learners, and e-learning. gives the highest efficiency when
competencies in the application of teaching technologies are perfectly acquired.
Significant changes in the field of education took place after the advent of the Internet and
its consistent penetration into our lives. One of the important achievements of technological
progress is the use of smartphones (smartphones), sending text messages and using the Internet, so
it is common for almost everyone to attend and work on online courses. The bulletin board, social
networking and various other means of communication internet allow users to attend online courses
and discuss issues related to the course being studied, providing a common sense.
Methodological goals that are important in terms of didactics, effective through the
introduction of e-learning and information technology:
• individualization and differentiation of the learning process;
• control of educational activities through feedback;
• self-monitoring and evaluation;
• organization of exercises and independent training in the process of mastering the training
material;
• save time in the learning process;
• visualization of educational information through ICT;
• modeling of studied events and processes;
• computer-based laboratory work;
• creation and use of information database;
• increase interest in reading;
• equipping the student with a strategy for mastering the material;
• development of thinking, creativity;
• formation of optimal decision-making skills;
• The formation of a culture of information and its use in the learner.
The strategic direction of the development of the education system in modern society is the
intellectual and moral development of man on the basis of purposeful independent activity in
various fields. It focuses on 3 main tasks:
1. Reforming the education system.
2. Recognize the principle of independent activity as a basic principle of education and
upbringing.
3. Introduction of modern information technologies in the educational process. The need to
develop professional competence in the e-learning environment:
• First of all, the market of educational services is becoming more competitive not only at
the national level but also globally;
• adaptation of the educational process to the needs, opportunities, level of knowledge of
students and their independent determination of the time of training;
• The issue of professional development is directly related to the quality of education;
• increasing the responsibility of teachers and administrators in imparting secular knowledge
to students, acquiring the necessary skills and abilities;
• Increased need for students to master the changes in the field of science through modeling
of the events and processes studied;
