The soft armrest easily converts into a headrest. Although the transformation method is
similar to the simple click-clack method, it has a number of advantages.
The tango transformation mechanism is a product of the Belgian company “Sedak-Meral”.
This mechanism consists of a steel frame, which has a grate inside. This design with the mattress,
has an orthopedic effect. The difference between a sofa with a tango mechanism and a sofa with a
click-clack mechanism is the presence of an adjustable armrest.
The armrest of the sofa with the “tango” mechanism can be in several inclined positions. In
addition, they are made of durable alloy, which allows the mechanism to work for a long time. The
back of the sofa with the “tango” mechanism (as well as the “click-clack”) can be set in three
positions:
for sitting
sofa position, where the back of the sofa is in a vertical position;
for rest
the position of “relaxation”, the back of the sofa is set at an angle;
for sleep
the position of the bed and the back of the sofa is located in the same plane
with the seat.
In the bed position, the sofa takes a flat, fully sleeping position, and the adjustable armrests
transform into headrests. The possibility of positioning the armrest at different angles provides
maximum comfort.
How to change the backrest angle:
1.
In the sofa position, the seat is raised until a click is heard, in this case the sofa
transforms into a bed.
2.
In the bed position, the seat rises to the first click. The back of the sofa takes a relaxed
position.
3.
In the relaxation position, the seat rises until it clicks. The back of the sofa occupies the
original position of the sofa (Pic. 2).
