Various types of security and safety issues are common thefts, societal violence, terrorism, armed robbery, credit card fraud, cybercrime problems, identity theft, sexual violence against women, racial discrimination, food poisoning risk, etc. Safe accommodation and hotel reputation are crucial, if not paramount, for ensuring the success of an individual hotel, hotel or hotel chain. These organizations should properly ensure the protection and maintenance of assets. This includes the protection of human, physical and intangible assets. The reputation of the hotel and the standard conduct of business are based on the protection provided to guests, employees, visitors, contractors, the physical structure of the premises and everything contained in them and related to the property. It is necessary to use means to reduce the many risks that hotels face, including, but not limited to, fires, criminal activity, injuries, natural disasters, sabotage and terrorism. Crime and attempted crimes have increased over time due to numerous factors. As the population increases, there are simply more criminals. In addition, crime has become more widespread, as evidenced by the very unsuccessful terrorist attack in Mumbai, India, where dozens of people were killed and injured in a horrific attack on the Taj and Oberoi hotels. While this is an extreme, it also illustrates the vulnerability that hotels face. More common vulnerabilities are single physical attacks on hotel guests and employees, theft of goods and services, injuries and claims caused by both real and perceived circumstances, as well as the devastating consequences of fires and natural disasters.
