Using of effective combination due to improve of hormone and water relationships or decrement of bacteria growth increase longevity of cut flower. In this experiment we evaluated the effect of BA on increasing Gladiolus cut flowers quality BA for 6 mgl -1 and longevity. Primarily bulbs were treated with 0, 100, 150 and 200 hours and then were planted. Application of BA prolonged the vase life of cut flower to control, significantly. BA had little effect on total soluble carbohydrate content in the petal but increased carbohydrate content in the leaf, significantly. In addition, BA with 200 mg/l dose, improved leaf chlorophyll content and petal protein content. Also the dose of 200 mg/l BA increased flower shoot elongation relative to control, but had not significant effect on number flowers of pedicel, Results of this research showed that applications of BA delayed petals protein degradation and caused to increase vase life of cut flowers.
