On the other hand, industrial development poses a dire threat to the environment and wildlife worldwide. In other
words, the natural habitat of flora and fauna has been destroyed due to excessive deforestation and urbanization .
Exploiting the natural world in the pursuit of constructing cities, bridges, and roads
to accommodate the ever-
growing human population has led to the extinction of a vast number of plant and animal species . However, the
reality of the situation is that our lives heavily depend on wildlife, which provides us with our basic needs, such as
food. If the government implements conservation programs through which some human activities, namely,
unnecessary deforestation and expansion of urban
areas for personal profits, are confined , the environment will be
protected to some extent .
To conclude, although the government should be held accountable to advance the country economically and
technologically, safeguarding the environment and wildlife from over-exploitation should not be neglected . By
restricting urbanization, the environment could be preserved.
