5. Are there any plans to continue this work?
Yes, I have more plans to continue with this project. I’ve been working with river dolphins for around
15 years, and even though this was not continued this species needs a lot of protection. We need to
continue with the promotion of the species, creating aware about the species and the threats. We
need to work with fisherman, and the local communities. We need to include the river dolphins in
different management plans of protected areas.
