Seasons
T here are four seasons in a year. They are: spring, sum m er, autum n and w inter. 
T here are 365 or 366 days in a year. T here are tw elve m onths in a year. January, 
February, M arch, A pril, M ay, June, July, A ugust, Septem ber, O ctober, N ovem ber 
and D ecem ber. T here are four w eeks in a m onths and seven days in a w eek. The 
nam es at the days are: Sunday, M onday, Tuesday, W ednesday, T hursday, Friday, 
Saturday. A ll the days o f the w eek except. Sunday are w eek days, Sunday is the day- 
off. Saturday is the d a y -o ff for many people too. Such m onth as January, M arch, 
M ay, July, A ugust, O ctober and D ecem ber have thirty one days. A pril, June, 
S eptem ber and N ovem ber have thirty days, but February has tw 'enty-eight days. In 
eveiy fourth year there are tw enty-nine days. Such a y ear is called leap year, Every 
season consists at three m onth M arch, A ril, M ay are spring m onths. It is very nice in 
spring. The sky is blue. T he sun begins to shine m ore brightly, the days becom e 
longer and the spring flow ers appear everyw here, nature is very beautiful in spring. 
Spring is a very pleasant season o f the year, June, July and A ugust are sum m er 
m onths. T he sun shines brightly. It is very hot. Sum m er is the hottest season o f the 
year. T he days are long and the nights are short. The longest day o f the y ear is June 
21st, sum m er is the best season for different sports in the open air. M any people have 
their vocation in sum m er. A utum n is very beautiful season. T he leaves o f the trees 
are red, yellow and brow n, Septem ber, the first autum n m onth, is usually pleasant. It 
is w arm in Septem ber. B ut in O ctober cold w inds begin to blow , the days get shorter 
and the nights get longer. There are a lot at fruits and vegetables in autum n in 
U zbekistan, W inter begins in D ecem ber and ends in M arch, it is the coldest season at 
the year. It often snow s. It gets dark early in the evening. The days are short and the 
nights are long. T he shortest day o f the year is D ecem ber 21. In w inter m any people 
go to skiing and skating. C hildren can sledge and play snow ball. Every season is 
beautiful in its time.
