Ex situ Collections:

Tropical trees, including fruit and nut species, tropical shrubs and herbaceous perennials, including Heliconia (17 taxa), gingers, bamboos, native plants, orchids (35 genera, 120 spp., 300 accessions), aquatics. Notable or well represented families/genera/species include: Anacardium occidentale, Mangifera indica, Spondias mombin, Annona (4 spp., 5 taxa), Bignoniaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Durio zibethinus, Bixa orellana, Ceiba pentandra, Pachira aquatica, Cresentia alata, Myristica fragrans, Malpighia punicifolia, Garcinia mangostana, and G. livingstonei, Persea americana, Azadirachta indica (Neem tree), Cedrela odorata, Eugenia (3 spp.), Palmae (38 genera and c.50 spp.), Syzygium (3 spp.), Pimenta acris and P. dioica, Pandanus, Coffea, Grevillea, Genipa americana, Nethelium spp., Theobroma cacao, Gmelina arborea, Synsepalum dulcificum, Litchi chinensis, Blighia sapida, Eriobotrya japonica, Erythrina spp., Macadamia ternifolia.
