Psoriasis: the past, present and future

(anniversary paper)

The paper comprises a retrospective review of the most important data in regard with etiology, pathogenesis, classification, clinical presentation, diagnostic and treatment aspects of psoriasis. That is based on an experience of 40 years of clinical and scientific work in the field of psoriasis, with an evidence of personal research results and references.

Rezumat

Prezenta lucrare constituie o retrospectivă a celor mai importante date privind etiologia, patogenia, clasificarea, tabloul clinic, diagnosticul şi tratamentul psoriazisului. Sunt trecute în revistă atât datele bibliografice, cât şi rezultatele cercetărilor proprii, efectuate pe durata a peste 40 ani de activitate curativă şi ştiinţifică.
