Compared to the past, nowadays, women started to have authority in society. Before, the cultures demanded females only to stay at home, give healthy birth and look after their children. However, currently, they hold many leading positions career-wise in the Earth's biggest economy and prominent international economic establishments.
According to famous news agency Reuters, in the U.S alone, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, and Trade Czar Katherine Tai are part of President Joe Biden's administration. Additionally, roughly half of his established cabinet-level officials are females.
Outside the United States of America, the European Union entrusted European Central Bank to Christine Lagarde with its 2.4 trillion euro capital. Moreover, Kristalina Georgieva is the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with $1 trillion in crediting power. Last but not least, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala supervises the World Trade Organization (WHO), where all the jobs in the organization were comprised of men ten years ago.
In conclusion, the age is changing dramatically. Currently, society understands that women need to have equal rights as men. They can run organizations as talented or even more efficient than males. The aforementioned facts from the USA and the rest of the world can be a brief example. Finally, women deserve to hold the highest positions in jobs if they are intelligent enough. A strong female that is not dependent on men can achieve anything they want career-wise and socially and this idea must be respected by the society.
