I was watching TV at 8 o’clock last night. ( Kecha soat 8 da televizor ko’rayotgan edim)

•Birinchi sodir bo’layotgan ish-harakatiga ikkinchi ish-harakat halaqit berganda. Sodir bo’layotgan ish-harakatiga past continuous( davomiy), halaqit qilgan ish-harakatiga past simple (qisqa) zamoni ishlatiladi.

I was reading a book when the lights went out.( Men kitob o’`qiyotgan payt chiroq o’chib qoldi).
I was doing my homework(davomiy) when my mother came(qisqa).

• Ikki yoki undan ortiq, bir vaqtda sodir bo’layotgan davomiy ish-harakatlarida.

Natalie was flying her kite while her sister was riding her bicycle.

While I was cooking,my sister was playing in the garden.
