Some
a) Some + ko’plik ot (ko’plik kesim) = “bir qancha”, “bir necha”, “ba’zi”
Some + sanalmaydigan ot (birlik kesim) = “biroz”


Example: Some girls; some students
Some money, some time.


b) Somebody = biror kishi, kimdir
Someone = biror kishi, kimdir + birlik kesim
Something = biror narsa, nimadir


Izoh! Orqasidan ot kelmaydi.
Bo’lishli gaplarda yuqoridagi ma’nolarda ishlatiladi.


Example: I bought some books yesterday.
We invited some guests to the party.
I borrowed some money from Jack.
Some people earn much money.
There is something in my pocket.
My friend gave me some money.
We have some time before the exam.
He is busy. He has some work to do.
I saw someone in the garden.
Somebody phoned you yesterday.
Something happened to Tom.
There is somebody at the door.
I am hungry. I want to eat something.
Someone is knocking on the door.
Aslida so’roq gaplarda any qoidalaridan foydalaniladi. Lekin ba’zan so’roq gaplarda some ishlatilishi mumkin.


Qachonki:


a) iltimos ma’nosi bo’lsa:


Example: Can I have some tea?
Can you bring some milk, please?
Can you lend me some money?
Can I borrow some money from you?
Could you spare me some minutes?
Will you lend me some money?


b) Taklif ma’nosi bo’lsa:


Example:Would you like some tea?
Would you like something to eat?
Would you like somebody to come?


c) vaziyatdan “ha” javobi kutilsa:


Example: What is wrong with you? Have you got something in your eye?
What are you doing on the ground? Are you looking for something?
What are you doing here in such a late hour? Are you waiting for somebody?
