Trees and shrubs for special requirements
Species set out below have been chosen for their suitability for special and difficult conditions. They are outstanding plants for their respective situations and are recommended as basic, first selections. With experience, you will learn and have success with the wider range of species.
Trees and shrubs for coastal environments:

Front line plants are those exposed to full salt spray and salt winds.

Second line will take some salt expose, but need protection of front line plants.
