honors. He rushed for
1,000 or more yars in each
of his final three seasons,
including 1,037 yards  in
only 10 games in 2008. He
finished his career as the
all-time TSU leader in
rushing touchdowns (42)
and second in rushing
yards (4,329). He was
drafted by the Kansas City
Chiefs in the seventh
round of the 2009 NFL
Draft.
Eastern Kentucky’s Chad
Bratzke eanred OVC De-
fensive Player of the Year
honors in 1993. That sea-
son he had 87 tackles (57
solo) to go along with 11
sacks and two fumble re-
coveries. For his career
Bratzke totalled 253 tack-
les and 27 sacks. He was
drafted in the fifth round of
the 1994 NFL Draft by the
New York Giants. He
would play five seasons
with the Giants and five
more with the Indianapolis
Colts before retiring fol-
lowing the 2003 season.
