Currently, on August 14-15, 2007, an international scientific-practical conference on the topic "Uzbekistan's contribution to the development of Islamic civilization" was held in Tashkent. , scholars, representatives of science and culture took part. In addition, in connection with the announcement of the city of Tashkent as the "Capital of Islamic Culture", large beautification works were carried out in our country, many cultural, educational and religious events were held. On October 18-19, 2016, in the city of Tashkent, recognized as the "capital of Islamic culture", the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation dedicated to the theme "Education and Enlightenment - the road to peace and creativity" was held in the next 43rd session.

In this blessed land, there are Islamic monuments such as Hazrat Imam complex, Koqaldosh and Abdul Qasim madrasa, International Islamic Academy, Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari, Koqaldosh secondary special educational institution and Khadichai Kubro women's and girls' secondary special educational institution. There are educational centers that teach the basics of our holy religion.
