Your fake self is who you are when you want to please
everyone else. That’s when you have a mask on and are keen to get feedback
from the people who surround you such as colleagues, friends, neighbors,
etc.
Don’t play any roles!
Stop thinking about what others want of you, or might
think of you, and
give yourself permission to be your authentic self.
The
rewards are awesome! Funnily enough, you will notice that the more you are
yourself, the more people will be attracted to you! Try it out!

Chapter 73: Pamper yourself
“You can change the way people treat you by changing the way you treat
yourself.”

This is one of my favorite exercises for my clients! Write down a list of 15
things that you can do to pamper yourself and then do one of them every other
day for the next two weeks. This exercise is truly miraculous! (Examples: read a
good book, go to the movies, get a massage, watch a sunrise, sit by the water,
etc.) Once you start treating yourself well, it
will do miracles for your self-
confidence and self-esteem! Start doing it NOW!
