Egyptian culture dates back to c. 6000 BCE during the Pre-Dynastic Period but the land was
settled before then and some level of civilization already established.
Is Egypt an African country?
Egypt is located in North Africa and so is considered an African country.
Who built the pyramids?
The pyramids were built by Egyptian skilled and non-skilled workers either for pay or as
part of community service owed to the king. They were not built by slaves.
