The purpose of the study: The purpose of this project is: Medicinal milk thistle in the conditions of Khorezm region consists of studying the physiological, bioecological characteristics and chemical composition of seeds of silybum marianum L. varieties.
Research methods:laboratory and field experiments, morphological, phenological, physiological, biochemical and statistical methods.
The results obtained and their novelty. Obtained results and their novelty. Seed quality (fertilization, growth energy, growth strength) and biochemical properties, chemical composition of seeds of Silybum marianum L. plant varieties in the soil and climate conditions of Khorezm region were determined.
Practical significance: The bioecological features of the medicinal plant milk thistle (Silybum marianum L.), which is important in the pharmaceutical industry, were identified and the elements of their cultivation were developed. The survey results can be used by farm managers, farmers and agricultural workers. The obtained results can also be used in the educational process of biologists and agronomists in higher education, in the field of cultivation and processing of medicinal plants.
