4.2.2 Solution 2:
Integration of Green Economy Principles in the Curriculum To overcome the challenge
of insufficient integration of green economy principles, it is essential to revamp economics curricula to include
dedicated modules or courses on sustainability and the green economy. These modules should introduce stu-
dents to key concepts, such as circular economy, renewable energy, and resource management
[22]
. Integration
can be achieved through a multidisciplinary approach, involving collaborations between economics depart-
ments and environmental science, engineering, or sustainability departments
[23]
. Case studies, real-world ex-
amples, and guest lectures from practitioners in the field can also be incorporated to provide practical insights
and engage students in meaningful discussions

Graph 1:
Student Survey Results
Note: The survey was conducted among 100 economics students from various institutions.
The graph visualizes the distribution of responses across five categories: “Strongly Agree,” “Agree,” “Neu-
tral,” “Disagree,” and “Strongly Disagree.” Each category is represented by a different color. The height of each
bar corresponds to the number of student responses falling into that category for a particular survey question.
The graph provides an overview of students’ opinions on the three survey questions. It allows for a quick
comparison of the responses across the different categories and survey questions. By examining the heights
of the bars, it is possible to gauge the general sentiment of the students towards each survey question. The
graph enables easy identification of any patterns or differences in the students’ responses, providing a concise
overview of the survey results.

In summary, the research findings reveal two main challenges: limited integration of English language
training for economists and insufficient integration of green economy principles in economics education. To
address these challenges, targeted solutions include the development of specialized English language pro-
grams for economists and the integration of green economy modules in the curriculum. These solutions aim to
enhance the professional and communicative skills of future economists, enabling them to thrive in a globalized
economy while contributing to sustainable development.

This section discusses the implications of the proposed methodology for enhancing the professional and
communicative skills of future economists within the context of teaching English and green economy. It ex-
plores the potential impact of the methodology on future economists’ abilities and their contributions to the
global economic landscape.
