Topology
A. Tasks
Physical connectivity is implemented between the two Layer 2 switches, and the network connectivity between them must be configured.
Configure an LACP EtherChannel and number it as 44; configure it between switches SW1 and SW2 using interfaces Ethernet0/0 and Ethernet0/1 on both sides. The LACP mode must match on both ends.
Configure the EtherChannel as a trunk link.
Configure the trunk link with 802.1q tags.
Configure VLAN ‘MONITORING’ as the untagged VLAN of the EtherChannel.
Solution
Task 1 + 2 + 3.
SW1, SW2:
interface range E0/0 – 1 channel-group 44 mode active no shutdown
interface Port-channel 44
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q switchport mode trunk
Task 4.
It seems VLAN 746 is the “MONITORING” VLAN. Please check with the “show vlan” command on both switches to be sure. If so we will set this VLAN the native VLAN on both switches.
SW1, SW2:
interface Port-channel 44 switchport native vlan 746
Don’t forget to save the configuration on both switches: SW1, SW2#copy running-config startup-config
