Organic (adj)

animals for food and other products
Example: Organic food, fruit, farms, farmers.

(B2) - traditional and ordinary 
Example: Conventional behavior

Compensate for (v) 
(C2) - to provide something good or useful in place of 
something or to make someone feel better about something that has failed or been 
lost
Example: Nothing will ever compensate for his lost childhood.

Emit (v) 
(C2) - to send out a beam, noise, smell, or gas
Example: The alarm emits infra-red rays which are used to detect any intruder.

Nutritious (adj) 
(C1
) -
containing many of the substances needed for life and growth 
Example: A nutritious diet.

Toxins (n) 
- a poisonous substance, especially one produced by bacteria that 
causes disease
Example: Experts have linked this condition to a build-up of toxins in the body.

Breed out (v) 
- to eliminate a characteristic in the course of controlled breeding
Example: Cruelty and the fighting instinct have not yet been bred out of the human
species.

Obsession (n) 
(B2) - something or someone that you think about all the time 
Example: An unhealthy obsession with death.

Symptomatic of (adj) 
- if something bad is symptomatic of something else, it is 
caused by the other thing and is proof that it exits
Example: Jealously within a relationship is usually symptomatic o f low self-esteem in
one of the partners.

- very hungry
Example: All experimental insects were starved for 24 hours prior to the experiment.
