something is about to happen.
Example: We are on the verge of a big discovery; We stand on a brink of a
great change.

Meaning: To warn someone that they will have to take full responsibility for
what they are about to do.
Example: If you choose to disobey my order, then on your own heads be it!
Out of sorts
Meaning: Slightly ill/unwell/unhappy.
Example: He's feeling a bit out of sorts.
Out of the corner of one’s eye
Meaning: Looking at something indirectly; when you see something briefly,
rather than clearly.
Example:
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my wife talking to some
stranger.
Over the hill
Meaning:
No longer young and fit; too old to perform as well as before.
Example: Ron is over the hill as a professional basketball player.
