White earth is the philosophical mercury at one of its stages of maturation. The sulfur of nature can be conceived here as the universal mercury, under one of its modalities. To unite them, in the different degrees of their mutual exaltation, that is science.
Sulfur-phosphorus can be considered as the Fire element of Fire-Water.
