How should ideas be related?

Understanding what the question asks you about is a fundamental step in the
formation of ideas. For instance, if you are asked about why people love kimchi
(Korean appetizer), you will understand that you have to answer the question by
giving reasons. With this idea in mind, you can now think of linking devices and
other expressions to show reasons in order to express your answer fully.

Part of comprehending what the questions require is to know the keywords
because your answer will be built around it. Look at the following examples:
What do you usually do in your spare time?
Do you prefer to stay alone or with your friends?
What do you usually do at weekends and weekdays?
What do you usually do when you go out?
What do you usually do with your friends?
Question 1 asks you about the activity/activities you do in your free time.
Number 2 asks about your preference, and you have to choose between being
alone or with friends. The rest of the questions require you to answer the
activities you enjoy doing on weekends and on weekdays, things you do when
you go out, and activities done when you are with your friends respectively.
Therefore, you can start your answer with the following:
In my free time, I often read books (name other activities).
I’d rather be alone than with friends.

The weekend is a time for doing laundry and weekdays are usually spent
attending to school needs since I am a student.

I love taking pictures when I spend time outdoors.
My friends and I eat or shop.
Here are other examples for Speaking part 3 questions:
What are the contributions of tourism to the economy?
Can you predict any major changes that could happen in the tourism
industry in the next fifty years?
Can you compare the tourism industry in your country today with the one
when your grandparents were young?
Can you identify some of the factors that have led to the success of the
airline industry?
You may then begin your answer by saying any of the following phrases:
Tourism contributes a lot to the economy, as this gives employment to
people.
Tourism is very beneficial to _____.

Economy thrives because of people’s leisure activities.

Your reasons and examples must be connected to your introductory sentence.
Question 2 asks you to speculate about the changes in the tourism industry in
fifty years’ time. As such, your introductory statement should contain this idea.
For example:

I think fifty years from now, ecotourism will be at its peak.
I envision tourism to be the leading industry in the next fifty years.
